I continue to work on the wonderful opportunity in the Altenew Educator Certification Program (AECP). One of the 10 classes In Level 1 Is the Let it Shine class.
The card I made for this class utilizes the Altenew illusions Spiral Stencil and Orange Cream Crisp Dye Ink. I incorporated my favorite tool, Wink of Stella clear pen for the glitter and shine. In addition the Illusion Spiral stencil reminds me of a sun burst for additional shine.
1.) On a 4.25” x 5.5” piece of Neenah Solar white 80 lb card stock, I blended the Orange Cream ink over the stencil, with deeper color in the center and lighter toward the edges of the panel.
2.) I stamped Thank You in the center of the spiral.
3.) Die cut 3 rectangles from the panel. I chose to offset one of my rectangles for additional impact. Make your rectangles any size and in any location you like.
4.) On a A2 Neenah solar white 110 lb. card base, lay the 4 rectangles down. Glue the first and third rectangles to the card base
5.) Apply adhesive foam tape to the back of the second and fourth rectangles and adhere to the card base.
6.) I colored the white sections on the first and third layers and the Orange sections on the second and fourth layers, and the center of the spiral, with the clear Wink of Stella ink.
I really enjoyed working on my blending technique and adding sparkle and shine to my card.
This card is very interesting. I will have to give it a try
